facilities around the world. Implements Ports, Protocols, and Services requests on Site context firewalls to

allow necessary network traffic. Assists site personnel in troubleshooting network related issues. Receive

and apply port exception requests to appropriate network devices to allow required communication between

devices. Manages and maintains configuration and access control list baseline documentation on a

voice and data circuits and 302 Ethernet switches valued at $41 million. Installs and operates campus

VoIP call manager and devices. Maintains legacy command and control systems and associated ATM circuits.

Utilizes diagnostic equipment and software to perform remedial/preventive maintenance and fault

isolation.

Key Results:

▪ Created data center logical network diagram in Microsoft Visio for 134 network devices. Provided high

level visibility for technicians and managers, reduced troubleshooting time to less than one hour.

▪ Network course instructor for 50 employees. Taught fundamentals of routing and switching and provided

technical support for four deployment missions that supported 6000 users, contributed to mission

success.

▪ Quality control inspector for telecommunications housings. Verified integrity of layer one cabling and

certified installations. Corrected 80 discrepancies and ensured 100% compliance with Defense Information

Systems Agency standards.

▪ Repaired critical network outage, implemented four switches and 192 data links. Restored services to
